Description:
My client is a leading multinational corporation (MNC) with a strong presence in various industries across the globe. The Singapore office serves as a pivotal hub for regional operations, supporting a focus on innovation and sustainable growth.
They are seeking a talented and experienced Finance Business Partner with a specialization in audit and accounting to join the APAC team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and strategic decision-making across our regional offices. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including finance teams, operational managers, and external auditors, to drive efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in financial processes.
KEY REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance, audit, or accounting roles within an international environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, reporting standards (IFRS/US GAAP), and audit methodologies.
- Experience in leading financial audits, managing external audit relationships, and implementing internal controls.
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, ERP systems).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the financial audit process for regional offices, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external audit firms to facilitate smooth and timely audits, addressing audit queries and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, variance analysis, and forecasts to support business planning and budgeting processes.
- Monitor key financial indicators, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with business units.
- Partner with regional business units to understand their financial needs, challenges, and opportunities, providing proactive support and guidance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, offering financial expertise, scenario analysis, and actionable recommendations for business improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
