Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial activities for our Belgian entity. Act as a strategic finance business partner.
  • Deliver the monthly financials. Supply the accounting team with the necessary info to assure the correct monthly financial close.
  • Link between the Sales team, Customer delivery team and finance / accounting.
  • Perform operational financial tasks such as invoicing, order validation, payroll validation, etc.
  • Participate in the budget / forecast cycles and perform various variance & trend analysis.
  • Continuously improve the financial and operational KPIs and dashboards that help guide strategic decisions
  • Participate to ad hoc projects (e.g. process improvements, tax optimisation, etc.)
  • Stay informed about general taxation matters
  • Participate in establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for the company.
  • Role also includes fleet and facilities responsibilities.
  • Finalise new car orders, link up with lease and insurance partners, set lease criteria, etc

Your Profile

  • Strong business acumen and at least 3 years of experience in a controlling, accounting, audit or similar financial position,
  • A bachelor or master degree in Economics or Business Administration (Accountancy or Finance oriented)
  • Cooperative communication style and hands-on.
  • Strategic thinker, able to convince stakeholders with analysis and proposals.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough, and enjoy developing structures and systems.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English at a business professional level (French is an asset).
  • You have excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel). Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a great plus.
