Description:
Star Group is a very recent merger of Joylab and Kapura, two extraordinary communities of top-notch bars, pubs and restaurants dotted across the country. This is an exciting time for the network as we embark on a new journey to create something that is totally unique in the NZ market.
We’re looking for a full-time Finance Business Partner to join our supportive and skilled finance team. Based in our office in Wellington Central, you’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting business development and performance through management reporting and analysis.
- Working alongside stakeholders to develop accurate short-mid term forecasting models
- Providing clear communication between key stakeholder groups (operations, marketing, people, head chefs and business leaders).
- Explaining detailed financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
To excel in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably in a similar environment (retail, hospitality). Additionally, you’ll also need advanced-level Excel skills, SAP or similar ERP experience, and CA qualified.
