QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

  • Academic degree within finance, accounting, or business administration with a solid understanding of accounting and finance
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience within financial planning and analysis, business controlling, or other finance disciplines
  • Demonstrate adept stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Solid experience working with the Microsoft Office package (especially Excel) and ERP systems (preferably SAP) and preferably also Power BI, Tableau or similar.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)

Your structured approach allows you to maintain a broad overview while paying attention to detail and you are data-driven and have an analytical mind-set. Responsibilities:

As a Finance Controller at OPDEV, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective controlling and financial management of the area.
  • Set-up and manage budget processes in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
  • Do financial analyses, reporting, and presentations.
  • Drive the monthly closing process of the area and ensure high-quality accounting practices including making accruals, re-postings, and invoice follow-ups.
  • Follow-up and ensure transparency in the organization’s performance against targets.
  • Ad-hoc investigations and follow-ups on variances or financial issue
