In the Fiscal Director role, we are seeking a mission-focused individual who has outstanding communication skills, strong attention to detail, and accounting experience in a non-profit setting to monitor, consult, and support the fiscal operations of Catholic Charities’ agencies.

As the Fiscal Director , you would be responsible for:

  • Oversee the completion of vouchers for Government contracts (Federal State & Local) by Grant Managers to ensure compliance with contract requirements and timely submission.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements including presentation to Agency Finance Committee/Board of Directors when requested.
  • Work with the Agency Director and Controller to monitor, consult, and support the fiscal operations of Catholic Charities’ agencies with a concentration on a designated agency to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), IRS, Federal and State laws, system-wide fiscal policies and quality assurance (QA) standards.
  • Maintain all aspects of the general ledger (GL) including maintaining general ledger entries for accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), and cash receipts and reconciling financial statements.
  • Other duties as assigned

Fiscal Director Minimum Salary: $60,000
Fiscal Director Maximum Salary: $60,000
Fiscal Director Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting or banking field.
