JOB DESCRIPTION

An excellent opportunity lead the finance team of a well-established services Group, with a growing blue chip client base. Kay aspects of role will involve:

• Supporting MD and Commercial team with tendering, contract negotiations and driving profitable growth, providing strong commercial decision support
• Leadership – leading a finance team of c. 20 including Financial Controller and reporting team, AP Manager, AR Manager. IT and Procurement will also have a dotted line in to this position.
• Performance management and KPI reporting
• Developing financial strategies to support commercial and strategic objectives
• Oversight of financial control function, and ensuring full tax and regulatory compliance
• Treasury management
• FP&A
• M&A opportunity assessment and dd
• Stakeholder management – company is part of a global group, as FD for Ireland, managing relationships with parent company
• Hybrid working model in place

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE

Ideal candidate will have the following background:

• Qualified Accountant, with experience at Group Financial Controller, Head of Finance or Finance Director level
• Preference for Big 4 training background
• Strong academic track record
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong commercial acumen, with track record of commercial decision support
