To realize this dream, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Director to drive revenue growth and investments in the DACH and US markets, and lead our finance team to manage daily finances.
As a Finance Director, you’ll be a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, providing financial leadership and guidance during this exciting period of growth. You are a highly motivated and analytical leader with a passion for building and leading a high-performing finance team. You possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for all levels of the organization. Thriving in a fast-paced environment, you are a quick learner and an adept problem-solver who can effectively manage multiple priorities.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
• 6+ years of experience in financial and accounting management, preferably in the tech industry or in a professional services company undergoing rapid growth or expansion
• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop actionable insights and recommendations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with the executive team, clients and other external stakeholders
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a finance team and work collaboratively with other members of SnapSoft and the senior leadership team
• Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with a track record of driving financial results and achieving business goals
• Knowledge of Hungarian accounting and tax laws and regulations, as well as experience working with Hungarian financial institutions

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with fundraising and financing, including debt and equity financing, as well as familiarity with financial instruments and capital markets
• Knowledge of US accounting and tax laws and regulations, as well as experience working with US-based investors and lenders, preferred

• Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy for our IT software development company that supports our US expansion goals. This includes forecasting and managing cash flows, optimizing working capital, and identifying opportunities for additional capital.
• Manage all financial relationships with investors, lenders, and other external stakeholders, and provide regular updates to the executive team and board of directors on key financial metrics and KPIs.
• Oversee all financial operations for SnapSoft, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, and developing and implementing internal controls and processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information and data.
• Analyze financial data and market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for our company, and provide strategic guidance and advice to the senior leadership team on financial matters.
• Manage debt and financing arrangements for our IT software development company, and identify opportunities for additional capital to support our growth and expansion in the US market.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s overall goals and objectives, and work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure that financial considerations are integrated into all key business decisions.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, including recruiting, training, and developing team members, and ensuring that the team is aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
• Build strong relationships with investors, lenders, and other external stakeholders, and represent the company in all financial matters, including potential mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic partnerships.
• Stay up-to-date with US accounting and tax laws and regulations, and ensure that the company remains compliant with all relevant regulations and reporting requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimization of financial operations and processes, and identify and implement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
