Finance Lead - Helping Irish Hosts

The HIH Finance Lead will manage the finance function of the organisation, reporting directly to the Head of Operations. The role will oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reports, compliance with regulatory requirements, rigorous controls, and working as part of a dynamic Leadership Team to develop the company’s strategic growth. In addition, the finance function takes responsibility for business support (administration) including IT and insurance.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare accurate timely monthly management accounts and reports
• Support the Board, CEO Head of Ops in budgeting and forecasting
• Provide Funds, Grants Reserves Reconciliations as required
• Ensure that our finance systems and processes are fit for purpose, efficient and transparent

Regulatory Compliance and Auditing:

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirement
• Ensure statutory returns are correctly filed at CRO, RBO and Revenue
• Liaise with external auditors and coordinate the audit process in accordance with the agreed accounting standards (we’re not a charity, but we’re radically transparent)
• Mitigate and avoid risks to the company by maintaining the risk register, implementing and reviewing internal policies and controls, ensuring compliance with same
