Leader in transformation and technology is recruiting for a Finance Manager.
This pivotal role based in Canberra entails managing and overseeing financial operations for the local business, collaborating closely with the executive team. You’ll be instrumental in reporting and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.

The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in reporting and strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, exceptional leadership abilities, and the capacity to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including key clients.
Skills
- CA/CPA qualified
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a commercial role with people management
- Proven experience in complex stakeholder management and competing deadlines
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in working for listed companies
- Advanced Excel for analysis and manipulation of large data set
Responsibilities:
- Half and Full year statutory reporting
- Compile monthly management accounting group reporting for ACT business
- Calculate and monitor AASB15 compliance
- Budget preparation ACT operations and detailed fortnightly forecast
- Liaising with operational department with regards to working capital requirements
- Preparing and compiling BAS reporting
- Identify enhancements for current processes, such as implementing a cloud-based system for lease-based accounting and migrating ERP systems.
- Month end journal entries for management accounts
- Manage a team of four
Skills
