How you make a difference:
As a Finance Manager Anaplan Model Builder, you will be instrumental in designing and optimizing forecasting processes and tools using Anaplan, enabling intelligent automation, and providing actionable insights for informed decision-making. Your role will involve constructing and maintaining Data Models and Dashboards within Anaplan to support budgeting and forecasting activities at Wellpath. With your Anaplan Certified Model Builder accreditation and expertise in implementing large-scale model builds, you will be responsible for integrating, translating, and transforming data from various systems into complex financial models, reports, and dashboards while collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver expected outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of Anaplan financial models for short and long-term planning, ensuring alignment with business requirements and stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand distinct problems, develop use cases, and provide analytical solutions and recommendations based on business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Translate requirements from excel-based spreadsheets or other sources into detailed blueprints for Anaplan models, modules, lists, and calculations.
  • Develop and build efficient Anaplan modules, lists, and integrations based on the blueprint, modifying existing models as needed and following standard change control processes.
  • Monitor data flows, ensure data accuracy, and provide training to the FP&A team and business stakeholders, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Anaplan planning environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Data Science

Experience

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a financial modeling role with hands-on experience in building and improving complex models.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Anaplan Certified Model Builder with a desire to become a solution architect.
  • Expert level Microsoft Excel with an aptitude in systems and reporting for analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization software (Power BI or Tableau).
  • Experience with OneStream, preferred but not required.
