Description:

Reporting directly to the VP, Operations, you will be managing financial operations in Singapore, including inventory closing for their manufacturing plants, handling intercompany reconciliations, taxation and statutory, key consultant in annual physical inventory, and providing support time to time to the APAC’s manufacturing plants.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Accountancy, Certified Public Accountant or possess a professional qualification in Finance
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment
  • Audit experience is an advantage
  • Proficient in SAP on Finance module is an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of FRS and Singapore tax regulations
  • Possess initiative, hands on, independent, a team player, ability to meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management and monitoring of the assigned group of companies and assets, including:
  • review of monthly management report, analysis of variances and monitoring of expenditures;
  • manage Budgeting, AP, AR, Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Audit, Inventory Management
  • resolution of accounting, legal, regulatory and operational issues arising;
  • manage taxation issues and be alerted to tax exposures, and ensure prompt filing of statutory taxes;
  • monitor and ensure the fixed asset register, capital expenditure and FFE reserve accounts are properly

maintained, controlled and updated on a timely basis;

  • assist in monitoring the overall cash flow position;
  • keep abreast of changes in accounting standards and the implementation thereof in the group accounts:
  • Assist in implementing corporate policies, procedures and reporting requirements
  • To carry out such duties and job functions as may be assigned to you from time to time by the Company Officers

acting on behalf of the Company.

  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned
