REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in a similar role with supervisory responsibilities, preferably in Banking & Finance.
  • Strong understanding of FRS accounting and disclosure requirements in the banking industry.
  • Experience in financial planning, analysis, and MAS reporting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Finance Department to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure timely submission of financial reports to Head Office, Local Management, and Regulatory Authorities.
  • Prepare annual financial accounts for audit and statutory reporting.
  • Compute monthly accruals and provisions for operating expenses.
  • Calculate annual estimated income tax for year-end closing.
  • Develop annual Estimates/Budget Reports for operating expenses.
  • Manage filing of quarterly Goods & Services Tax (GST) and annual FATCA/AEOI returns to IRAS.
  • Monitor financial operations including accounting controls, invoice processing, and salary payments.
  • Act as a liaison with Head Office, auditors, tax agents, and local authorities regarding finance and tax matters.
  • Stay updated on relevant accounting and tax standards and ensure compliance.
