Finance Manager

As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of our organization. Your role will involve strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to ensure the company’s long-term financial sustainability and growth. You will work closely with executive leadership to develop financial strategies aligned with business objectives, manage financial risks, and optimize financial performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Proven experience (10 years) in financial management, with a track record of driving financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Certification such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent is a plus.
• Having experience in grouping of companies will be an added advantage.

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenues, expenses, and cash flow.
• Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify deviations from budget and forecast and implement corrective actions as necessary.

1. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate budgets aligned with strategic goals.
• Prepare regular forecasts based on actual performance and market trends to support decision-making and resource allocation.

1. Financial Reporting:

• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Present financial reports to executive management and board of directors, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

1. Cash Management:

• Manage cash flow and liquidity by monitoring receivables, payables, and investment activities.
• Optimize working capital management and ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs and strategic initiatives.

1. Risk Management:

• Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, including currency risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk.
• Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

1. Financial Strategy:

• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies that support business objectives and drive growth.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions, providing financial analysis and recommendations.

1. Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions to secure financing and support capital raising activities.
• Serve as a liaison with external auditors, regulators, and tax authorities, ensuring compliance and addressing inquiries as needed.
