Description:
As the Finance Manager, you will hold operational responsibility for overseeing all accounting activities throughout the month, including the preparation of monthly financial statements in compliance with intra-group policies. Your leadership will be pivotal in guiding and supervising the entire finance team, providing support in analysis, decision-making, and financial reporting to align with the company’s overarching goals and strategies.
Additionally, the Finance Manager will be a key member of the Swiss leadership team and will support by providing better data driven decisions for the future success of the business.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Strong Leadership and communication skills.
- Education as a Federal Accountant or a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Controlling, or Financial Planning & Analysis.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an international company.
- Proficiency in German (mother tongue) and advantageous proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Numerical acumen and a meticulous approach to work.
- Resilient and goal-oriented.
- High sense of responsibility and duty.
- Knowledge of Navision is advantageous.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the seamless execution of controlling, finance, and accounting processes, including Internal Control System (ICS) operations, reporting to the VP Finance & IT, Europe & LatAm.
- Provide analytical support to management, category managers, and department heads, facilitating informed decision-making through plausibility assessments and other analyses.
- Report financial outcomes and key metrics in accordance with Group directives.
- Collaborate with all departments to prepare budgets and forecasts adhering to Group standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, plausibility checks, and risk analyses to aid management and department heads in decision-making processes.
- Define and review subordinates’ responsibilities and ensure their alignment with current standards.
- Establish annual targets in consultation with direct reports and monitor their achievement through Management by Objectives (MBO).
- Supervise subordinate personnel, ensuring the quality and timeliness of their work.
- Coordinate tasks and monitor adherence to deadlines across the finance team.
- Independently implement company guidelines.
- Manage personnel under your supervision in accordance with the organizational structure.
- Conduct and oversee performance appraisals for subordinates.
- Assume accountability for all accounting activities, including financial statement preparation and adherence to legal and policy frameworks, alongside the accounting team.
- Serve as a liaison between the finance department and other internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies.
- Oversee cash management activities to ensure liquidity.
- Lead tax-related matters, including Tax Packages
- Provide evaluations and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to optimize internal processes, facilitate resource planning, and support decision-making on new projects.
Performance Criteria:

- Ensure compliance with legal requirements across all activities and management.
