Description:

MARS Recruitment is delighted to announce its collaboration with a prominent privately owned financial services company. They are currently in search of a Finance Manager to become a part of their high-performing team. As the Finance Manager, you will lead a finance team and be responsible for overseeing every facet of the finance department, which encompasses accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, treasury functions, cash flow management, revenue forecasting, financial modelling, tax compliance, statutory reporting, and upholding industry standards.
This position offers an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager with a background in overseeing financial control and reporting functions. The company is distinguished by its high-performance and collaborative culture.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7+ years’ experience in financial accounting
  • Must have financial services experience
  • CA/CPA qualified (or international equivalent)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and financial reporting requirements
  • Manage the month-end close process, review balance sheet reconciliations and prepare consolidation reports
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecast and financial models ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts and provide insightful recommendations
  • Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to perform their roles effectively
  • Take a proactive and hands-on approach in resolving finance matters which arises within the team and across the business
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing process and implement new process as well as being a key influencer
