Frends is a dynamic, rapidly growing IT business on a mission to become a global leader in iPaaS (integration Platform as a Service). We are now seeking a Finance Manager to join our finance team in Finland to manage our finance operations and support our global growth.
As Finance Manager, you will play a central role in managing our finance operations as well as developing efficient and scalable processes supporting our international growth. You will lead a team comprising Controller, Accountant and Payroll Specialist and you report to Frends’ CFO. As our team is compact, this is a broad role with a mix of hands-on financial administration and development work, and you will also be collaborating closely with the management team, sales, regional directors as well as external partners.

• A solid understanding of financial management and its best practices.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or a similar role.
• A relevant educational background (e.g. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field).
• Ability to lead a team with a hands-on approach.
• Strong communication, analytical, and cooperative skills.
• Fluency in English and Finnish. Although remote work is commonplace in our company, you should be based in Finland and be able to work at our Espoo office on a weekly basis.

• Management and practical execution of our finance-related operational processes (e.g. you will play central role in signing on and setting up invoicing for new SaaS customers).
• Providing practical hands-on support to the finance team, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Act as key user of our financial system and related ERP-modules.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to develop efficient financial processes as we continue to grow internationally.
• Develop reporting and analytical capabilities in cooperation with the CFO, finance team, and other key internal stakeholders.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and tasks and act as a trusted partner to the CFO.
