As the Financial Manager, you’ll be at the heart of all aspects of accounting operations, providing strategic guidance, and acting as a key business partner advising the management on financial strategies to support the business.
From corporate accounting to financial reporting, you’ll be at the centre of it all and will be responsible for managing accounting transactions, producing dynamic financial reports, and ensuring comprehensive controls and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self-Starter, with strong Communication & Influencing skills.
  • Accounting qualification – ideally ACA or CIMA
  • Extensive PQ experience in a global organisation ideally within Manufacturing / Production industry
  • Technically strong financial accountant and accomplished user of ERP systems
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Native level Danish and strong English language skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide invaluable business partnering support to the Lystrup Production and Management team onsite, actively engaging, and contributing to management meetings
  • Collaborate with our global Finance teams, driving change, aligning processes, and seamlessly integrating Lystrup systems where needed
  • Lead the site budget and forecasting process throughout the year while closely collaborating with site leads
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of accounting operations, from billing and A/R to A/P, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition, and reconciliation of statements and bank accounts while collaborating with 3rd party external accounting partner.
  • Lead and review the monthly and yearly close process; produce monthly financial reports. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting in conjunction with external 3rd party provider.
  • Assist HR in preparing monthly payroll for all employees, handling the intricacies of travel costs, holiday allowances, out-of-pocket expenses, and other reimbursements.
  • File all mandatory reports requested by the Danish Business Authority, SKAT, and Statistics Denmark, ensuring timely and effective VAT payments and reimbursements.
