• Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and manage budgets for projects.Forecast financial needs and ensure funds are allocated appropriately.
• Cost Control and Management: Monitor project expenses to stay within budget.Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Assess financial risks related to construction projects and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Contract Review and Negotiation: Evaluate financial aspects of contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.Negotiate favorable terms and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow to ensure the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations.Oversee accounts receivable and payable to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Investment Analysis: Analyze potential investment opportunities and their financial implications.Advise on the feasibility and profitability of new projects or ventures.
• Financial Systems and Controls: Implement and maintain robust financial systems and internal controls.Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor the finance team to enhance their skills and performance.Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
