Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Finance Manager at Vereniging Register Controllers (VRC), you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing all financial processes within the organisation. You will lead your team with empathy, fostering an environment of collaboration and mutual growth. Your responsibilities will extend from overseeing budget preparation to coordinating liquidity planning, ensuring that the organisation always has sufficient resources. Your expertise in creating high-quality financial reports will be crucial in providing strategic advice to promote the organisation’s financial health. With your understanding nature, you will maintain close relationships with various stakeholders, ensuring alignment of financial objectives with stakeholder needs.
- Lead the Finance team, fostering streamlined collaboration and optimal performance.
- Support, guide, and coach team members to develop and utilise their skills.
- Collaborate with the Finance team in preparing annual budgets and monitoring financial performance against set goals.
- Coordinate activities around financial planning and budgeting, making necessary adjustments.
- Prepare high-quality financial reports and analyses for management and board members.
- Manage cash flows and coordinate liquidity planning to ensure sufficient financial resources at all times.
- Ensure an effective internal control environment in compliance with financial guidelines, laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain close relationships with various internal stakeholders, acting as a key link between the Finance team and other departments.
