THE COMPANY
We are working with Australia’s largest independent non-bank lender, currently investing heavily into the growth of their Australian portfolio, which currently exceeds $2billion.
Through both organic growth and acquisition of competitors they have aggressive plans to ensure their assets under management grows by 20% YoY.
Based in Sydney’s CBD they are looking for someone to bring a positive, presence to work within a close-knit collaborative team, where there is a strong attention placed on employee value and development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
This role is hugely broad, you will have exposure to all facets of this business. We are looking for someone keen to deep dive into the business and support the Finance Director in understanding all aspects of reporting and performance:
- Assist the preparation of financial and management reporting
- Process journals and complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Support cash flow management, yearly budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting
- Work with external providers to manage tax compliance and audit queries
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and processes for best practice
- Prepare and present analysis and commentaries for distribution at board meetings
- Provide financial analysis and operational recommendations to business stakeholders
