Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Singapore. Reporting to the Finance Controller, the successful candidate plays a critical role in managing full spectrum of financial accounting, tax, statutory and other reporting.

What you’ll do:

As a Finance Manager at our client’s firm in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in managing full spectrum of financial accounting, tax, statutory and other reporting.

  • Review and approve accounting entries prepared by finance executives in Microsoft Dynamics
  • Review monthly reporting submitted by Singapore finance executives
  • Prepare and submit Group Reporting (CAP) quarterly
  • Review of tax filings and returns (e.g. withholding tax, VAT, annual tax returns etc) in Singapore
  • Ensure timely and accurate closing of finance and accounting activities monthly and report to regional finance manager
  • Collaborate with accounting, tax and other functions with relevant parties in Singapore and assist with year-end audit
  • Ensure inter-company and intra-group transactions are booked and reconciled timely
  • Ensure Singapore’s regulatory and statutory reporting is prepared and submitted on time
  • Guide and assist Singapore finance team to record transactions accurately in accordance with International Finance Reporting Standard ("IFRS") and monitor group finance governance compliance
  • Involve and support regional finance projects and initiatives and prepare quarterly Solar Asia Group consolidation

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Finance Manager role is someone who is resilient and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in accounting/finance
  • Professional qualification (e.g. CPA)
  • 5-7 years of relevant working experience in multi-national companies
  • Minimum 3 years of operational accounting relevant work experience
  • Hands-on experiences of accounting systems and good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a strong plus
  • Good knowledge of IFRS and respective Asia countries accounting, tax rules and regulations requirements
  • Experience with renewable energy business is preferred
  • Prior experience in Big 4 professional accounting firm is an advantage
