SUMMARY

  • Will be oversee 1-2 companies overall finance and accounting activities / Headcounts less than 20
  • Budget for the role -$7000-$9000/ commensurate with the person experience and last drawn salary and experiences

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial management, including hands-on experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll administration.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements, including Singapore regulations and IFRS.
  • Experience in reviewing and analyzing group and subsidiary performance, with the ability to provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
  • Familiarity with the IPO process and the ability to guide the company through it if required.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to assess and manage financial risks and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities:

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to oversee the daily financial operations of our company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various financial functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, wire transfers, and transfer pricing compliance. Additionally, you will be required to review the performance of our group and subsidiary companies and provide recommendations for improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the finance team, ensuring smooth running of accounts receivable, accounts payable, wire transfers, and transfer pricing compliance.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including the full set of accounts, profit statement, and balance sheet.
  • Develop and execute financial strategies to drive the company’s growth and success.
  • Oversee payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by completing the required filings.
  • Coordinate with annual audits and act as a liaison with external auditors.
  • Interact with internal stakeholders, including directors, project managers, and department heads, providing them with financial information and analysis.
  • Collaborate with external parties such as auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies when necessary.
  • Assess and manage financial risks, including project-related risks, liquidity risk, and market risk. Implement risk mitigation strategies to maintain the organization’s financial stability and sustainability.
  • Maintain consistent application of accounting standards, policies, and controls across overseas offices through effective liaison and communication.
