Description:

Experienced Finance Officer required for a 6 month temporary position in the CBD, opportunity to join a fast-growing Financial Services business.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for assisting the finance team with day-to-day accounting support duties, which will drive the performance of the team. The organisation is conveniently located in the heart of Melbourne CBD with some of the most impressive offices the city has to offer. While predominantly office based, the business does offer some WFH with most of the team opting to work 1 day at home per week.

Some typical duties will involve:

  • Journal entries
  • Bank reconciliation
  • BAS preparation
  • Cash receipting
  • Interest accruals on balance sheet
  • Management fee calculations
