CONTRACT

Lawson Elliott is excited to be working with a well-established and reputable company who is looking to welcome in a confident Finance Officer to join their Brisbane team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a great team to learn new skills and be recognised as a key member of the accounts team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will be, but are definitely not limited to:

  • Handling accounts payable/receivable and payroll duties
  • Support and assist in implementing new process’s and workflows
  • Maintaining financial records accurately
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of bills and invoices for clients
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Resolving accounts to the general ledger
  • Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments
  • Managing the Accounts team inbox and respond to queries
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

To be considered for this role:

  • 3+ years proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
  • Xero & Reckon experienced would be desirable
  • Strong and confident communication skills
  • Exceptional verbal, written and customer service skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and numeracy skills
