CONTRACT
Lawson Elliott is excited to be working with a well-established and reputable company who is looking to welcome in a confident Finance Officer to join their Brisbane team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a great team to learn new skills and be recognised as a key member of the accounts team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will be, but are definitely not limited to:
- Handling accounts payable/receivable and payroll duties
- Support and assist in implementing new process’s and workflows
- Maintaining financial records accurately
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparation of bills and invoices for clients
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Resolving accounts to the general ledger
- Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments
- Managing the Accounts team inbox and respond to queries
- Ad-hoc duties as required
To be considered for this role:
- 3+ years proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
- Xero & Reckon experienced would be desirable
- Strong and confident communication skills
- Exceptional verbal, written and customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Strong interpersonal, analytical and numeracy skills
