Finance Operations Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading, award-winning media agency which works with some of the UK’s leading brands. The company is looking to recruit a Finance Operations Lead who will be an integral member of the 14-strong finance team. Reporting to the CFO, the succesful individual will lead a team of 5 and work collaboratively with other stakeholders across the business.

• Manage and oversee financial/contract compliance audits, liaising with auditors and internal agency/group teams as we look to drive efficiencies and increasingly progressive management information.
• Work closely with the CFO to improve reporting to the agency on commercial finance and key Working Capital KPI’s.
• Perform in-depth reviews to ensure client contractual compliance and to identify areas of financial risk.
• Provide key commercial information to stakeholders highlighting operating efficiencies, key systems improvements and make recommendations for improvements and corrective action.
• Provide operational support to the client teams and specialist functions, working on improving late billings & unbilled media.
• Work with the Shared Financial Service Centre to ensure effective working capital processes and to deliver accurate management information for reporting purposes.
• Working with SFSC to ensure business continuity across all aspects of supplier relationships.
• Act as an effective Coach/Mentor to members of the team, delegating to them and helping them to develop.
