Processing, analyzing and reporting of financial statements and journals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure all processes are documented in a standard format and maintained in an accessible fashion
- Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve systems and procedures
- Ensure compliance on provided legislations, industry codes, company policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain an efficient/ effective relationship with finance teams
- Resolve daily issues and escalations, provide valuable contribution for their resolutions, and communicate information to the team to prevent further issues
- Ensure consistency and effective suite of reports (e.g. general ledger) and results provided to business enabling management to monitor business profitability
- Perform medium complexity tasks, with increased focus on highly complex and urgent tasks
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly deliverables such as expense journals, re-classification of accounts, and management reports.
- Responsible for the preparation of the Quarterly and Yearly Blackline reconciliation.
- Responsible for the preparation of Stamp Duty, BAS and other ATO returns.
- Responsible in clearing Bank reconciling items for the applicable business units.
