Description:

RECONCILIATION ANALYST

  • 6 months initially (with a view to extend on the next wave)
  • £450 per day Outside IR35
  • Flexible hybrid working - going into West London occasionally
    Investigo are currently seeking a reconciliation consultant to help assist one of our good clients with their implementation of SAP S/4Hana.
    Our client’s finance transformation work stream comprises FP&A, R2R, OTC and Treasury. The programme work stream team is lead by the FP&A global process owner.
    This role holds responsibility for ensuring adherence to the Finance Data migration strategy, preparing data for migration with a requisite level of cleansing, and conducting financial reconciliation between the old and new systems.
    Additionally, it involves partnering closely with Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to validate and reconcile data effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the GPO in achieving data reconciliation from a financial perspective.
  • Participating in the accurate and comprehensive mapping of all account balances and transactions from the current system to the new system.
  • Developing, establishing, and maintaining financial data reconciliation processes in accordance with audit requirements.
  • Coordinating the review process for the reconciliation of migrated financial data.
  • Developing a project plan and strategy for the automatic reconciliation of pricing, stock, GL open items, and balances from all legacy systems into S4 Hana & SAC.
  • Creating a review process with Finance Directors throughout Data Migration cycles and Cutover.
  • Defining an approach for resolving discrepancies in reconciliation.
  • Cleansing financial data for migration, including pricing, Record-to-Report (R2R), GL open items, AR open items, AP open items, rebates, bank items, and other necessary data points.
  • Collaborating with other SMEs and the GPO to cleanse, validate, and reconcile financial migration.
  • Supporting the mapping of data as needed, such as customer hierarchy, product hierarchy, and material attributes.
  • Questioning the necessity for custom requirements in comparison to available standard functions.
  • Converting finance history to the Gregorian calendar
  • Providing input to project plans, participating in progress monitoring, and generating status reports, RAID log updates, and crucial project documentation and audit trails.
  • Participating in defining use cases, test cases, test data, and evaluating results from testing phases.
  • Contributing input to data definition, data migration, data identification, and data validation.
  • Providing input to cut over planning and managing transitional states.
