TEAM OVERVIEW

We are looking for a seasoned Financial Accountant to fill a critical 12-month fixed-term position in Dublin, to assist with maternity cover. This role is not just about crunching numbers; it’s an invitation to become a part of a global team that spans across the US and EU, actively contributing to the day-to-day management of accounting and financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with the maintenance of the daily books for the 13 global entities of the company such as Revenue/Receivables, Expenses/Payables, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, General Ledger & Prepayments
  • Execute the monthly close process with precision and accuracy, ensuring the timely preparation of financial reports for Europe and Asia
  • Billing and Collections of complex revenue for all clients
  • Support global audits (UK, HK, IE) by providing external auditors with required support
  • Prepare timely and accurate documentation that gives evidence of the Company’s financial information
  • Prepare regular financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, etc.) and present to team as scheduled
  • Collect data, analyze information, prepare reports and make recommendations on special projects as needed
  • Assist the organization with compliance with various statues and regulatory requirements from Government agencies and others (Central Bank of Ireland, Financial Conduct Authority, HMRC etc.)
  • Manage relationships with key vendors as well as distribute client invoices and address billing queries

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in accounting (background in audit or tax is a plus)
  • Demonstratable advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (such as experience building pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and SUMIF functions)
  • Knowledge of U.K and Irish generally accepted accounting practices and principles
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate both internally and externally with clients and vendors
  • Ability to efficiently and with attention to detail prepare accurate and timely financial statements
  • You have excellent time management skills with ability to effectively manage changing priorities and deadlines
  • You have proven experience researching, analysing and processing data to resolve complex problems
  • University Degree in either Accounting or Finance (ACCA or ACCA equivalent certification would be a plus)
