Responsibilities:

The primary objective of this role is to assist the Finance Manager within the Financial Control Team to provide timely, accurate and commercially focused financial and management accounting support. This role is also technology savvy, a strong team player who will work closely and build strong relationships with the broader Group Finance & Strategy to achieve its efficiencies goal.

  • Key contributor towards the month-end closing, balance sheet account reconciliations and reporting cycle for the business unit in compliance with the group timetable
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly BAS and yearly FBT entertainment register and checklist
  • Assist in the production, finalization and delivery of the monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual management reporting packs with relevant variance analysis in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assist and participate in the production, finalization and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory returns where required
  • Assist and participate in the production, finalization and delivery of half yearly and annual statutory reporting packs where required
  • Participate in and support the delivery of internal and external audit processes in an effective and timely manner
  • Assist and participate in and support Group and business unit projects and initiatives
  • Actively seek out and implement process improvements
  • Build effective and healthy partnering relationships with platform stakeholders
