Your Role and Impact:
- Keep track of all payroll related payments and expenditures: superannuation, PAYG, Novated leases
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances as well as Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries
- Maintain historical records
- Pay vendors by producing relevant files and ensuring payment is received for outstanding account
- Prepare analyses of accounts and produce monthly reports
- Continue to improve the payment process
- Recharge revenue and expenses
- Statistical and ad hoc reporting as required Payroll
- Process accurate and on time weekly payments
- Pay employees by verifying expense reports and preparing ABA files, in particular KM reimbursements and Better Reward bonuses
- Work in conjunction with Human Resources with managing the termination of staff and their final payment process in accordance with state and federal timeframes • Update financial records with payroll related journals
- Ensure wages, super, novated leases, payroll tax, PAYG, BAS and STP is up to date and paid on time
- Liaise with P&C department regarding employee changes
- Manage the payroll mailbox Ad Hoc
- Reasonable additional duties and projects as required

- Relevant tertiary qualifications, in either business or commerce desirable CA/CPA desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous experience with Employment Hero and Xero beneficial
- Knowledge of the NDIS and Allied Health greatly desirable Personal Attributes
- Effective communicator and Approachable
- High attention to detail
- Adjusts quickly when priorities change and takes prompt corrective action as needed
- Resilient, adapts well to pressured situations and executes good control
