Your Role and Impact:

  • Keep track of all payroll related payments and expenditures: superannuation, PAYG, Novated leases
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances as well as Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries
  • Maintain historical records
  • Pay vendors by producing relevant files and ensuring payment is received for outstanding account
  • Prepare analyses of accounts and produce monthly reports
  • Continue to improve the payment process
  • Recharge revenue and expenses
  • Statistical and ad hoc reporting as required Payroll
  • Process accurate and on time weekly payments
  • Pay employees by verifying expense reports and preparing ABA files, in particular KM reimbursements and Better Reward bonuses
  • Work in conjunction with Human Resources with managing the termination of staff and their final payment process in accordance with state and federal timeframes • Update financial records with payroll related journals
  • Ensure wages, super, novated leases, payroll tax, PAYG, BAS and STP is up to date and paid on time
  • Liaise with P&C department regarding employee changes
  • Manage the payroll mailbox Ad Hoc
  • Reasonable additional duties and projects as required

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, in either business or commerce desirable CA/CPA desirable Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience with Employment Hero and Xero beneficial
  • Knowledge of the NDIS and Allied Health greatly desirable Personal Attributes
  • Effective communicator and Approachable
  • High attention to detail
  • Adjusts quickly when priorities change and takes prompt corrective action as needed
  • Resilient, adapts well to pressured situations and executes good control
