Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Financial Accountant with expertise in CSSF (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier) financial reporting to join the financial team of a bank. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting to regulatory authorities, supporting our commitment to transparency and regulatory compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, with a focus on CSSF regulatory requirements.
In-depth knowledge of CSSF regulations and reporting standards, including CRD IV, COREP, and FINREP.
Fluent in English
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with CSSF regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary financial data and ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting.
Monitor changes in CSSF regulations and requirements, and implement necessary updates to reporting processes and procedures.
Assist in the coordination of regulatory audits and examinations, including the preparation of documentation and responses to inquiries.
Provide expertise and guidance on CSSF reporting requirements to internal teams, including finance, compliance, and legal departments.
