Description:
Our clients are predominantly business owners who are focused on ensuring their day-to-day operations perform as they should, I.T, networks, systems and cybersecurity are generally not something they have time to consider and that is where we step in. We manage all of the I.T. requirements so that people don’t have to worry about whether their data and systems are protected.
Nostra is exponentially growing and we are expanding our Finance team! Nostra has offices in Dublin, Galway and Cork.
REQUIREMENTS:
ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CPA Qualified with 0-2 years PQE from an audit, tax and advisory training background.
Results orientated with strong attention to detail.
Proven track record in introducing process improvements.
Excellent technical abilities.
Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands-on role.
Excellent communication, customer care and interpersonal skills.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Strong IT and Excel experience.
Excellent knowledge of ERP systems.
Team player.
Ability to use own initiative.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities:
Responsible for monthly financial accounting to include preparation of journals, reconciliation of all balance sheet line items and managing the chart of accounts.
Preparation of Monthly, quarterly and year- end management accounts.
Responsible for ensuring the overall integrity of the firm’s financial information.
Stock control.
Report on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis on client and employee profitability.
Manage day to day cash flow and liaise with and manage daily relationships with financial institutions.
Assist the Financial Controller in evolving the Company’s reporting function to facilitate decision making within the business.
Preparation of the Company’s financial accounts and all related activities in terms of Financial Statement production.
Assist the annual budgeting and forecasting for the company.
Management of Monthly Payroll to include commissions and BIK calculations.
Management of company tax compliance, financial reporting and tax calculations (PAYE, VAT, ERR, VIES and RCT returns).
Assist on company acquisition accounting and be the point of contact for finance on acquisition integrations within the group.
Ad Hoc requirements and projects as required.
