This position is part of the ANZ finance team located in Lane Cove and will be a hybrid position, with 2 days in the office (subject to change).
Your role will involve managing the complete set of statutory financial reporting, overseeing audits, and handling tax matters within the medical equipment organization. If you excel in dynamic environments and are eager to contribute to meaningful work, continue reading to learn more.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Managing month end financial accounting process and reporting.
  • Prepare financial statements in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with the company local and global accounting policies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop accurate and realistic budgets that align with the company’s strategic objectives during the change.
  • Take the lead in internal and external audits.
  • Participate actively in the change management process, providing financial expertise to assess the impact of changes on the company’s financial position.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard and ensure the integrity of financial information.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accountancy or similar (CA or CPA preferred)
  • Equivalent 3-5 years of experience in general accounting, tax, statutory, month end close, account reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Experience in working in global and matrix organisation.
  • Experience in system implementation and project management
  • Knowledge in US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
  • Advanced MS Excel advantageous.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, OBI, Blackline).
