Description:

This Australian healthcare group have operated with excellence for over 40 years. The business has grown organically and through strategic acquisitions in the ANZ and international markets to become a household name in the sector.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Preparing financial statements to trial balance and completing month-end reconciliations
  • Assisting with integration of acquisitions through uploading accounting data and monthly financials to the ERP
  • You will also be a key point of contact for assisting and liaising with external auditors
  • Preparing financial reports for numerous stakeholders including Executives, Board and banks
  • Provide adhoc coaching to the accounts team of an Australian based subsidiary

YOUR SKILLS

  • Completed bachelor’s degree and either pursuing or completed CPA/CA qualifications
  • You have a strong understanding of GL accounting and have reporting experience. We are also open to considering first movers from Audit in Big 4/2nd tier CA firms
  • You are a confident user of ERP systems, it is a bonus if you have used SAP
  • You are able to operate in a hands-on, busy role and communicate effectively with non-finance stakeholders
