QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIANCE AND SKILLS REQUIED:

  • Qualified Accountant with experience of financial reporting, consolidation, audit liaison and internal controls.
  • Good working knowledge of local and international GAAP
  • Ability to work on their own initiative to deliver results within a short period of time.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills when dealing with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated and proven ability to work within a team to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to work to deadlines with good prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Financial reporting systems

Responsibilities:

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.

Main duties & responsibilities, working with CFO, Financial Controller and the Finance Team:

  • Ensure monthly management accounts and variance reporting is accurate and in compliance with local GAAP.
  • Ensure complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions, particularly contract revenues and margins; ensure integrity of new ERP system data.
  • Ensure appropriate controls in place over accounting and financial processes, including preparation or review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage year-end external audit process and preparation of the annual audit files together with all annual compliance filing.
  • Manage all tax and regulatory filings.
  • Manage risk and treasury management as required.
  • Company secretarial activity as required.
  • Support acquisition activity as required
  • Work with the team to generate efficiencies in the use of finance related IT systems, utilising the ERP and other available systems to their full potential.
  • Relevant project work on key initiatives as required.
