We are currently working with a rapidly growing non-bank lender and is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the team. Our client is one of the best amongst their competitors and have created this new role due to the ongoing growth of the business!

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
- CPA or CA qualified or working towards your qualification. ASX listed experience will be held with high regard.
- At least 5 years’ experience in accounting/analytical experience.
- Group consolidations experience is required.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to the broad audience.
- Strong presentation and storyboarding skills
Responsibilities:
This role will be hands-on and will give you the opportunity to be involved in supporting the wider team with process improvements and change management.
The role will have a mix of financial and management reporting, business improvements, and adhoc tasks. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Ownership of month end close including journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Reporting including commentary and variance analysis.
- Support of financial processes including invoicing/statement generation.
- Ensure deadlines for monthly board reporting are met for the group.
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts.
- Liaise with external auditors.
- Streamline financial processes to bring in reporting timelines.
