  • Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary and evolving accounting practice including knowledge of relevant accounting standards and related legislation.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the fixed assets register.
  • Assist with the completion of month end reporting including reconciliations, journal entries and creation of supporting working papers.
  • Adhering to IFRS and all other policies and procedures.
  • Processing wage journals in a timely manner.
  • Assisting the team with the preparation and related reporting and reconciling requirements of the monthly Business Activity Statement.
  • Reviewing the P&L and adding commentary where necessary.
  • Processing of accruals and prepayments in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing, coding and approval of invoices.
