Financial Accountant role based in Melbourne CBD, this position will offer an opportunity to work in a diverse learning environment.

THE COMPANY

Robert Half are partnering with a leading investment organisation currently seeking for a Financial Accountant to join their high performing team.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree qualified in Commerce, Business or related field.
  • CPA or CA.
  • 3 - 5 years or more industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SAP are preferred.
  • A high level of attention to detail will be critical for this role.
  • Strong communication skills to enable you to work cross-functionally with other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Completing month end reports and relevant procedures.
  • Supporting full accounts receivable and payable functions.
  • Raising invoices and debt reconciliation.
  • Delivering year end external audit requirements.
  • Scheduling and ABS reporting.
  • BAS & PAYG return preparation.
  • Ensuring all ATO queries are serviced.
