CLIENT
My client is an established, community services focused organization with over 150 years of history of working closely with community leaders. They provide community services, represent workers from all different backgrounds continue to influence the betterment of the society.
I’m working with their Financial Controller to recruit an experience Financial Accountant who is looking for a long-term career move that offers amazing benefits and flexibility. As the 2IC for the Financial Controller within a team of 4, you will be responsible for the following.
Candidate Profile and skills required
- CPA/CA qualified with over 5 years of total relevant experience
- Ability to work within a team and contribute to the culture
- High attention to detail and ability to follow outlined procedure
Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day accounting responsibilities, including assisting with month-end closure
- Completion of relevant journals, P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, Workers Compensation etc
- Assist with monthly/ annual budget, cashflow forecasting and reporting
- Project based variance analysis across the organization
- Maintain the Fixed Asset and inventory register
- Provide assistance and guidance to AP, AR, and Payroll staff.
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
