What you’ll do:

  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow statements in HFM, including the closure of SAP subledgers.
  • Enhance HFM reporting quality and drive efficiencies in the monthly controlling process.
  • Coordinate and ensure compliance of accounting information to improve reporting processes.
  • Manage statutory accounting and external audits for approximately 100 legal entities.
  • Align SAP and group reporting with statutory requirements, ensuring audit transparency.
  • Provide expert advice on technical accounting matters, supporting the adoption of new accounting standards.
  • Support significant projects such as the reduction of legal entity numbers and expedite the group reporting schedule.

What you bring:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 3 years’ experience in a finance role.
  • Proficient in IFRS reporting and UK GAAP with current technical knowledge.
  • Proactive and resilient, with a strong inclination to identify and solve issues.
  • Ability to challenge and improve existing financial processes.
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Flexible approach, comfortable in a changing environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience with SAP and HFM.
  • Familiarity with Caseware Working Papers and external audit processes.
