FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT – STATUTORY & ASSET MANAGEMENT
Contract: Full-time, Fixed-term (12-month Primary Carers Leave backfill)
Location: Melbourne Docklands
Salary Level: PS05 $88,339 – $101,590 + 17% superannuation

Our functions comprise business intelligence, finance, risk management, information technology, student administration and student services.
The Finance team is responsible for providing reliable and accurate financial information and advice to end-users. It supports the company’s ability to meet its legislative and audit obligations, and provides financial policies and procedures which are supportive of, and consistent with, the company’s goals and directions.
We provide services that meet student’s need and enable us to innovate. Our systems support growth and provide a thorough understanding of results to inform decision-making and business development

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Compliance & Transformation, the Financial Accountant is a key member of the finance team focused on statutory compliance, asset management and ensuring all financial obligations are met. The role is responsible for the preparation of the end of month process, treasury and cash management, facilitating the end of year audit and preparation of the College’s statutory accounts, and being a key driver in managing and maintaining the fixed assets register.
