Responsibilities:
This role is a maternity leave cover for 1-year, starting from August 2024, and it is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to take on a role that is broad and varied, with lots of exposure to all aspects of accounting and reporting in a complex, and fast-paced Retail & Financial Services environment.
During this time, you will prepare monthly management accounts and packs and provide quarterly reporting to our Irish Board, external and Group interests. You will lead or participate in any internal or external audits. Responsible for Treasury, this will involve providing weekly cashflow analysis for the Irish company, in addition to banking payments and securitization reporting.
Plus, you will prepare and submit bi-monthly VAT returns, corporation tax returns and post-Brexit customs tax compliance. You’ll also lean in and support the business areas with general budgeting and forecasting, cost management, and any ad-hoc reporting or analysis projects that are always on the go.
