    The Library is seeking to fill an ongoing Assistant Director, Financial Accounting role at the Executive Level 1 role in the Finance Section of the Corporate Branch.
    The Assistant Director, Financial Accounting is a critical role at the National Library. The position manages the financial accounting aspects of the organisation, which includes accounting for fixed asset, reconciliations, invoice processing, payments, Trusts accounting, accuracy of financial information and finance related policies and procedures.
    We are looking for an experienced CPA/CA qualified professional accountant with several years’ experience in financial accounting in either the public or private sector. The Financial Accountant works independently and manages a work unit with three staff. The position also works with the external auditors and the Department of Finance in ensuring that financial reporting obligations are met.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

  • CPA/CA qualifications is essential.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a financial accountant in either public or private sector is also essential.
