Ngāi Tahu Holdings is seeking an experienced Financial Administrator to join the shared services finance team (Te Hou).
This is an exciting opportunity to join an important team with the responsibility of ensuring financial administration support for the Te Rūnanga Group, primarily including accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial accounting support functions.
The Financial Administrator will join the Financial Administration team providing outstanding customer service to a large and complex organisation involved in various industries, including delivering iwi outcomes through Ngāi Tahu Holdings and its business units of seafood, tourism, farming, property and capital investments.

You will provide a mixture of key accounting and finance support across Te Rūnanga Group, including the following key areas of focus:

  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Month end reconciliations
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Accounting support
  • Liaising with our team, purchasers and suppliers regarding account queries
  • Support to the Transaction Services Manager

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years in a similar role in a large sized organisation
  • Navision / Business Central experience or a similar ERP system
  • Medium to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Exposure to corporate purchasing card (Pcard) Systems
  • Experience in purchase order processes
  • Experience in automated accounts payable systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong awareness of and affinity for the values and aspirations of Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu and Ngāi Tahu whānui.
