SUMMARY:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation of a variety of financial reports including daily, weekly, and periodic reports to Senior Management and other parts of the business. Creates and maintains computerized financial models for the reporting purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• College diploma or University studies in finance/accounting and/or currently working towards an Accounting designation
• 3 – 5 years related work experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Intermediate skills in other Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent business writing skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong financial math and analytical skills

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain accurate and efficient financial models for reporting purposes.
• Maintenance, modification, and preparation of daily, weekly, and period end reports to Senior and Operational management.
• Maintain TM1 database through loading daily and weekly through BW, BDMS, and SAP.
• Liaise with other Departments to obtain related data and maintain business relationships.
• Ensure processes and procedures comply with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and commitments consistent with IFRS.
• Take part in various ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
• Analyze Sales (BW/BDMS) entries and request corrections if needed.
