Job Description

As part of our central Finance Operations team, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Take care of daily business (travel expenses, banks, accounts payable, intercompany and fixed asset accounting) for the subsidiaries in Asia Pacific
  • File and complete journal entry requests from the operations teams
  • In charge of monthly, quarterly and annual closing in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP
  • Research, analysis and explaining key drivers for month, quarter and annual financial results and variance drivers in comparison to planned forecasts and previous year’s results for various P&L accounts
  • Assist in yearly audits and various tax declarations e.g. VAT, CIT
  • Use information from analyses and research to create reports and offer recommendations and improvements
  • Contact person for external partners, such as tax advisors, auditors and authorities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional experience, particularly with SAP FI, knowledge of international accounting (IFRS) is a big plus
  • Familiarity with posting journal entries and accounting month end processes
  • Excellent communication skills both in German and in English
  • Strong organization skills and customer service orientation
