We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting and analyzing our plant operations within the Corrugated division. This position will report directly to the Plant Finance Manager, Corrugated.
Location: 111 Progress Avenue, Scarborough, Ontario

Responsibilities:

  • Variance analysis of operational costs with explanations
  • Monthly clearing of A/R Inter-company control account to Purchases and Expenses
  • Facility and maintenance costs analysis and reviews
  • Monthly Inventory Dashboards and Aging reports, as well as ad-hoc analysis related to Inventory
  • Develop and report on monthly operational KPI’s for plant managers and supervisors
  • Month-end accounting & reporting – Die journals, PO accruals, Payroll reports, Credit notes reporting, Scrap and Starch reporting
  • Quarterly inventory count (Finished Goods and Roll Stock) at one box plant
  • Quarterly CCCA industry benchmarking, Executive reporting and analysis
  • Preparation of daily production reports
  • Interim and Year-End Audit requests
  • Daily balancing of Amtech Sales to Baan G/L system and month-end reconciliation
  • Weekly Reconciliation of DOR for 2 plants
  • Review and check Expense claims according to policy
