Description:
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client, a leading Asset Management company based in Central Dublin, are looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team. This person will work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager and will be comfortable working with large data sets to extract valuable insight and meaningful information for presentation to management.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
2+ years experience in an analytical role, preferably within a Finance function
Pursuing / interested in pursuing a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
3+ years of experience in a Finance or Accounting Role (preferably public or private accounting background with hedge funds or private equities)
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Ability to multi-task and meet timelines
Proven analytical skills and judgment – strong attention to detail essential
Responsibilities:
Support the Financial Planning & Analysis manager in the preparation and delivery of the annual budget, planning and production of rolling forecasts.
Ownership of purchase dept. and business line expense monitoring, reporting and forecasting process.
Analyse P&L results against plan, forecast, prior periods and other key performance metrics.
Support FPA Manager in preparation of quarterly financial pack for presentation to Board.
Assist with construction of financial models and development of reports/dashboards to track and analyse historical and projected spend and revenue trends.
Support wider Finance function with month-end close process.
Work on ad-hoc projects, with a focus on process automation and optimisation initiatives.
