Position: Financial Analyst
Hansa Biopharma is looking for a Financial Analyst to join an experienced Finance team. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our senior Financial Analyst who will coordinate your daily work. The work also entails close collaboration with the accounting and IR/PR team. The position reports to the CFO.
As Hansa Biopharma makes significant strides in the commercialisation of its lead product across the EU, including sales and distribution, this position offers a unique opportunity to join in a exciting and fast-paced journey.

Principal Responsibilities and key tasks

• Monthly financial reporting and analysis.
• Review and recommend financial risk and opportunity assessments for large contracts and agreements.
• Drive the budget and forecasting processes together with the senior Financial Analyst.
• Participate in the monthly closings by preparing and finalize assessment of accruals.
• Assist with annual audit requests from the Company’s external auditors.
• Participate in various projects primarily within Finance and IT.
• Work with, and improve, the Company’s reporting, and accounting processes and procedures.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

In order to succeed in this position, we believe the ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Degree in accounting or similar relevant finance discipline with approximately 3-years of experience in financial planning analysis and accounting for international business’, preferable within bio-tech, pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel is required, and must be fluent in spoken and written English. As the team are predominantly Swedish, fluency in Swedish would be preferred but is not essential.
• You have strong proficiency in ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred) or similar systems.
• Interest in working with Business Intelligence tools, such as Power-Bi.
