Description:
REQUIRED/DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Desired Education: Master of Business Administration degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Required Experience: Proven work experience as a Financial Analyst – 3+ years
- Desired Experience: Previous experience working with Blackbaud – Financial Edge NXT software application in a hospital or medical environment
- Required Skills: Communication and computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, financial software applications, and Microsoft Power Point presentations
- Desired Skills: Leadership, interpersonal, financial modeling, and presentation skills
- Language: Fluent in English
- Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
- Travel: Local as required

Responsibilities:
POSITION-SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the development of the organization’s annual operating and capital expenditure budgets.
- Perform monthly analysis of the organization’s actual financial results in comparison with budgets.
- Provide recommendations and alternatives to increase revenue, reduce expenses, and improve financial performance.
- Provide monthly financial reports and presentations for management meetings.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standards defined within the department and funding source, and aligned with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) principles.
- Prepare internal reports for program managers and directors to assist with proper and relevant decision making.
- Assist with annual program or grant budget preparation.
- Assist with analyzing program or grant activities in comparison to budgets.
- Assist with annual Audit preparation.
- Attend departmental/Center-wide meetings as required.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
